Based at Grand Junction Regional Airport, the Rocky Mountain Wing of the Commemorative Air Force will celebrate 25 years in Grand Junction with a museum Open House and Warbird Rides day on Saturday September 18, 2010, 9:00am to 4:00pm at the airport. In addition to the Wing’s aircraft, there will be other historic aircraft on display and the hangar and museum open to the public. Admission is free. Reservations are being taken now for warbird rides in the mighty TBM Avenger and NE-1 (J-3) Piper Cub.
