Join us for a 350 nm flight to Page, Arizona (KPGA) located on the southern shores of magnificent Lake Powell. We will explore the picturesque Horseshoe Bend, and the famous slot canyons, known for their narrow paths and stunning rock formations. Pack your sturdy walking shoes, bottled water, cameras, and sunscreen for this breathtakingly beautiful weekend in the Southwest.

Friday, May 20th: Morning: Arrive Page airport (KPGA) (https://cityofpage.org/departments/airport) by noon local time. We will load up in rental cars then head to town for lunch. Afternoon: We will visit the beautiful and famous Horseshoe Bend, a 1.5-mile roundtrip hike. If you wish you may continue for another short 1.2-mile trip to Hanging Garden located above Lake Powell. Evening: After we check into our hotel, we will have our famous happy hour by the hotel pool. Be sure to bring your own beverage and a snack to share. Dinner is on your own, if so inclined, to explore the many dining options in Page.
	Saturday, May 21st: Morning: Complimentary breakfast is available at the hotel. Following breakfast, we have hiking reservations at Antelope Canyon X slot canyon. All slot canyons are located on the Navajo reservation and require a reserved ticket and guide. We have 20 reservations. Lunch and afternoon: Enjoy lunch on your own, walk the streets of Page and visit the famous Powell Museum. Happy Hour and Dinner: We will have a short BYOB happy hour before our group dinner at one of Page’s best restaurants and a short walk for an ice cream dessert.
Sunday May 22nd: Following breakfast at the hotel, we will drive back to the airport for our return flights home, soaring over the canyons and rivers we hiked the days before.

General Information: Attendees are responsible for reserving and paying for their own hotel room and bringing a beverage and snack for our happy hours. Dinner on Friday is on your own, with a group dinner arranged for Saturday evening. It is recommended to make dinner reservations in advance for Friday evening if you have a specific restaurant in mind. *At this time (2/20) masks are required at all places in the Navajo Nation. Please plan accordingly by bringing necessary masks with you.* Accommodations: A block of 10 rooms is being held under the Colorado Pilots Association at the La Quinta Inn & Suites , 70 Kaibab Road, Page, AZ 86040. King-sized or 2 queen beds are available. The total cost for a room is $139 per night, plus tax. A complimentary breakfast is included. Call the La Quinta Inn & Suites at 928-608-5327 by April 30, 2022, to reserve a room. Be sure to tell them you are with the Colorado Pilots Association for the group rate. Rooms not reserved by April 30th will be released. Hotel cancellation or changes must be made at least 24 hours prior to 3:00 p.m. of the check in date to avoid the first night’s charge. Cancellation Policy: Canyon X hiking reservations must be cancelled more than 72 hours in advance to get a full refund. Costs: All meals, room charges, and other incidentals are the responsibility of participants. Please include check payable to Colorado Pilots Association upon registration.
