About this event
What do bootleggers, barnstormers, and a retired airplane have in common? You’re about to find out!
Step into the wild side of aviation history this Halloween with a one-of-a-kind adventure! Discover surprising stories of early aerial activity before picking up a paintbrush and transforming a real Cessna 150 into a work of art.
You’ll experience:
- The history of bootlegging in the American West and its connection to barnstorming
- Painting a retired Cessna 150 alongside Athena Project muralist Sofi Rami
- Muralism learning opportunities for all ages
- A festive mocktail fit for the fall season
And more!
The finished Cessna will be displayed in our hangar for a limited time, to be seen by other guests, friends, or family during future visits!
