About this event

Nelson Jacob Wolfmeier

Nelson Wolfmeier is a certified Airline Transport Pilot with several type ratings and certificates for CFI, CFI-I, MEI and A&P. His work experience includes various positions in the military along with chief inspector at a part 145 repair station, director of maintenance for a part 135 charter, assistant chief flight instructor at a flight school, and pilot jobs running the gamut from aerial survey to cargo. He will talk about the duties and responsibilities in his current position as General Aviation Operations Safety Inspector with the FAA and how the new philosophy of the FAA is really ‘here to help.’

Other topics will include what to do if you have to copy down a number, being a good ambassador to the community, and how the FAA can help you.
