  • Roger MacDonald: Profiled for his leadership in improving Silver West Airport in Westcliffe, Colorado (elevation 8,820 ft). Successfully facilitated funding from Colorado Aeronautical Division ($175,000) combined with private donation ($250,000) to construct a paved 9,000 ft runway, upgrading from previous 5,600 ft gravel runway. 1992 Colorado Aviation Hall of Fame inductee; bases his 1956 Cessna 172 at Silver West.
