Member News

  • Norman A. Osborn, Gone West: Respected engineer and project manager at Martin Marietta who contributed to the design of the Manned Maneuvering Unit (MMU), with his name on a plaque at the Smithsonian Air Museum. Osborn held a pilot’s license since 1977 with over 800 hours of flying. He passed away on October 9, 2010, at age 78. Family requests donations to the Engineering Scholarship Fund at the University of Colorado Foundation in his memory.
