Member News

  • Emily Warner Recognition: Grand County Airport officially renamed “Grand County Airport Emily Warner Field” in honor of Warner, an original CPA charter member and the first woman pilot hired by a passenger-carrying airline (Frontier Airlines). A Pioneers Wall of Fame has been created at the airport to commemorate her legacy.
  • Colorado 99s Youth Outreach: The 99s Colorado Chapter successfully hosted Girl Scout Day on April 11 at Aspen Flying Club, introducing 50 Girl Scouts to aviation through five educational stations covering weather, air traffic control, aviation history, and hands-on instruction. The event was supported by volunteers from multiple aviation organizations.
