Your Corporate Member Guide
Thank you for backing the Colorado Pilots Association. Your corporate membership funds scholarships and advocacy for general aviation in Colorado, and in return your company is in front of Colorado pilots on every page of this site. This guide shows where your listing appears, how to keep it sharp, and how to see the traffic it sends you.
The link to this page is in your welcome email, on My Account, and under your name in the top-right menu whenever you are signed in.
Where your company appears
Four places, all fed from the one listing you manage. Every one of them counts an impression when it is shown and a click when a visitor follows the link to your website.
Homepage logo grid
Every corporate memberβs logo, on the homepage, linked to their website. This is the busiest page on the site.
See the homepage →Sponsor strip on every page
A slim panel at the right edge of nearly every page shows one corporate member at a time, chosen at random on each page view. Across a month every member gets a comparable share.
Sidebar sponsor
Pages with a sidebar carry a βCorporate Sponsorβ box with a logo, your company name, and a Visit Website link. Also rotated at random.
Corporate Members page
Your logo, your description, and your link, alongside the other companies that support CPA. Members are pointed here when they need fuel, maintenance, training, or a medical.

Everything above comes from one form. Changes are live as soon as you save.
- Sign in and open My Account β Corporate Sponsor Profile.
- Company name and website. The website is where every click lands, so make it the page you want a pilot to see first, not necessarily your homepage.
- Description, up to about 100 words. It appears on the Corporate Members page. Say what you do for pilots and where you are.
- Logo. PNG, JPG, SVG, or WebP. A wide logo on a transparent background looks best in the grid and the strip; a square icon works but sits small.
- Save. Your listing is updated everywhere at once.
?utm_source=coloradopilots on the end. Google Analytics and most other tools will then show visits that came from this site as their own line.
Your results
My Account β Sponsor Analytics shows the last twelve months of your listingβs performance, so you can see what the membership is doing for you.
| Number | What it means |
|---|---|
| Impressions | How many times your logo was shown to a visitor, on any of the four placements above. One visitor on one page counts once, however many times they reload; a visitor who sees you on three different pages counts three times. |
| Clicks | How many times a visitor followed your link to your website. Counted from every placement. |
| CTR | Click-through rate: clicks divided by impressions, as a percentage. It tells you how compelling the logo and placement are, independent of how much traffic the site had that month. |
| Year-to-date cards | Impressions, clicks, and average CTR for the current calendar year. |
| Download CSV | The same table as a spreadsheet, for your own records or your marketing report. |
Numbers are counted from the moment your listing is live and are never estimated. A new listing shows its first impressions within minutes of the next visitor arriving.
Corporate-only events
Some events on the aviation calendar are open to corporate members only. When you are signed in with a current corporate membership, the register button on those events is live for you; everyone else sees a note that the event is corporate-only.
Everything an individual member gets
A corporate membership carries every individual member benefit too: Flight Lines, the CPA Presents video library, the member directory, fly-in registration, the mentor directory, classifieds, the member rate for mountain flying ground school, and the rest.

| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| How long does it run? | Twelve months from the day you join. The expiry date is on My Account β Membership Status, and reminder emails go out 30 days and 7 days before. |
| What happens if it lapses? | Your listing is taken down from all four placements automatically once the membership lapses, and stops earning impressions. After you renew, open your Corporate Sponsor Profile and save it once to put the listing back. Your analytics history is kept. |
| How do I renew? | From Membership Status, or turn on Auto-Renew there so the card is charged on the expiry date and the listing never drops. |
| Who do I ask? | The contact form reaches the membership chair. |
