Volume 2, Number 10 (November 1985) — This issue of Colorado Pilots Association’s Flight Lines highlights the success and growth of the organization’s publishing efforts and celebrates its inaugural state-wide convention held October 18-19 in Denver. President Vern Foster’s message acknowledges the dedicated team behind the newsletter’s creation and publication, crediting Ken Monahan’s vision, Wayne and Lisa Thetford’s production support, and editor Terry Barbo’s recent takeover of editing duties. The newsletter also thanks members who responded to membership critique surveys and acknowledges sponsors who donated prizes for the first annual CPA Convention, including Peoples Bank and Trust, The Aviator’s Mart, SKY-WAY Publications, and Front Range Airport.

The issue features detailed coverage of activities at Meadow Lake Airport, including new FBO operations and aircraft services, as well as profiles of notable aviation personalities in the Colorado Springs area. A significant portion is dedicated to impressions from the inaugural state-wide convention weekend, capturing the social and competitive activities that made it a successful addition to the CPA calendar.
