The September 1990 issue of Flight Lines highlights the Colorado Pilots Association's recent activities and future planning. The newsletter features recognition of volunteers who staffed the CPA Chalet and Pit Gate at Airshow Colorado on August 11-12 at Front Range Airport, where over $10,000 in passes were sold. A significant portion of the newsletter addresses the Denver TCA (Terminal Control Area) design for Denver's new airport, with an ad hoc committee working on recommendations for the FAA. The board also discussed important safety and legal issues raised by a pilot's experience during an accident investigation at Jeffco Airport, prompting inquiry into pilot rights and investigative authority jurisdictions.
