September 2018 Flight Lines opens with historical aviation milestones from throughout September, then transitions to current CPA activities and industry updates. President Bart Jones highlights the successful CPA fly-in season and encourages members to take advantage of remaining good flying weather, including the AOPA fly-in to Santa Fe. A significant focus is the ADS-B 2020 compliance deadline, with Jones noting that new equipment options are becoming more affordable, though many aircraft—particularly in the Denver Metro area—remain unequipped. The newsletter also covers Colorado's growing aerospace presence and local pilot achievements.
