The October 2019 Flight Lines newsletter highlights the Colorado Pilots Association's activities and celebrates general aviation in the state. The issue features an extensive report on the successful Pagosa Springs fly-in (September 13-15), where CPA members enjoyed perfect weather, local dining, horseback riding, and a professional theater performance. President Bart Jones provides a reflective column about a recent trip to China, contrasting the country's impressive infrastructure and surveillance state with the freedom and natural beauty of Colorado. The newsletter also celebrates the induction of former CPA President Gary Tobey into the Colorado Aviation Hall of Fame for his military service, Civil Air Patrol leadership, and advocacy for general aviation.
