Air Force Reserve Recruiting Colorado Aviators for Flying Training

The Air Force Reserve’s 367th Recruiting Group has asked CPA to pass along an opportunity for members who already hold ratings and have wondered about flying in uniform.

The Undergraduate Flying Training (UFT) program commissions and trains experienced aviators as rated officers in the Air Force Reserve — a part-time commitment that lets you keep a civilian career. The UFT board hires into four specialties:

  • Pilot — fixed-wing transport, tankers, fighters, and bombers
  • Combat Systems Officer (CSO)
  • Air Battle Manager (ABM)
  • Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Pilot

Requirements and the application process are on the Air Force Reserve UFT program site.

Colorado’s officer accessions recruiter is Master Sergeant Darwinn Ferrer Aponte, 367th Recruiting Group, 5719 N Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs — 719-314-9120. He takes appointments through his online scheduling page.

CPA is sharing this at the request of the Air Force Reserve. CPA does not administer or endorse the program.
