JRBAF Announces Charity Raffle Tickets on Sale

# Colorado Pilots Association News Brief

The Jim Richmond Backcountry Aviation Foundation is now selling $50 raffle tickets for its 2026-27 charity, offering three restored Piper J-3 Cubs as grand prizes, with the drawing scheduled for June 5, 2027. All proceeds directly support JRBAF’s mission to acquire and develop remote backcountry airstrips that provide public aviation access across the region. For Colorado pilots, this raffle represents an opportunity to support expansion of backcountry flying opportunities while potentially winning classic aircraft, with secondary prizes including tailwheel training courses.
