Aims Community College in Colorado has received a rare Maverick TwinJet 1500 homebuilt jet—one of only four ever flown—donated by local pilot Mike Seavall for its aircraft maintenance program. The all-composite jet, equipped with modern avionics and two jet engines, will provide A&P students with hands-on training on advanced technology that significantly enhances their educational opportunities compared to many other maintenance programs. This donation strengthens Colorado’s aviation workforce development and demonstrates the community’s investment in the next generation of aircraft maintenance technicians.
