Colorado Pilots Association Flight Lines – February 1985 covers organizational expansion and community news.   • Al Field Memorial: CPA member since 1972 and co-organizer of Denver to Jackpot Air Race passed away January 22 following a heart attack; buried January 25 at Fort Logan National Cemetery with military honors; survived by wife Virginia
  • IBAY Area: Ken Brown completed restoration of 1941 Piper Cub; Dr. Wayne Nichols purchased Beach A-36 Bonanza; Randy Pillard acquired private pilot certificate (instructor: Lucile Bledsoe); new hangar under construction by Dean Faneeler
