The October 1991 issue of Flight Lines features a President’s Message from Bill Marshall highlighting the critical work of AirLifeLine, a national non-profit organization of volunteer pilots who donate their time, aircraft, and fuel to fly medical missions. Currently, 25 Colorado pilots participate in AirLifeLine’s operations, with coordinator Betsy Luce organizing one or two missions daily across 48 states. Since its founding in 1978, AirLifeLine has flown over 6,000 missions of mercy and logged nearly 2.5 million miles, transporting time-critical medical cargo and patients unable to afford commercial travel. The newsletter also covers CPA Board activities, including plans for a second Student AirLift and updates on organizational initiatives.
