Events & Activities
- 3rd Annual CPA Mountain Flying Course: June 10-11 at Colorado Springs, hosted by Best Aire FNC. Ground school on Friday evening followed by Saturday mountain cross-country training visiting Leadville, Glenwood Springs, Aspen, Rifle, Gunnison, Kremmling, and Salida. Thirteen pilots attended ground school; nine participated in flying.
- 3rd Annual CPA Airmanship Contest: Saturday, August 12th at 8:00 AM, Fort Morgan Airport. Events include precision landings, aerial bombing, flight computations, and takeoff performance calculations. Entry fee: $10 for plane & pilot, $5 per passenger.
- CPA Annual Labor Day Fly-In: September 3-5 at Angel Fire, New Mexico. Group accommodations at The Legends Hotel and Conference Center with special rate of $45.00 per night plus tax. Reservations required by August 1.
