Colorado Pilots Association’s December 2023 Flight Lines newsletter focuses on membership growth and community engagement. President Adrian Nye highlights CPA’s goal to increase membership from approximately 675 members out of 19,000 certified Colorado pilots, emphasizing that membership ($20/year) represents the organization’s strength and influence. The newsletter is now publicly accessible without login to encourage broader readership and sharing. Editor Vince Otto reports increased newsletter views and solicits member articles and stories, inviting contributions on flying experiences, fly-in trips, and aviation adventures.
The organization is actively recruiting new members through multiple channels, including newly designed tri-fold brochures and calls for member volunteers to help distribute materials. The newsletter acknowledges Jeff Hinkle’s stepping down as Education chair after years of service, including work with the Redbird simulator and youth career fairs, and seeks new co-chairs or volunteers for the education committee.
