Our History

Founded in 1972 and incorporated as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, CPA has served Colorado’s general aviation community for over fifty years. The organization is entirely volunteer-run, governed by elected officers and appointed committee chairs who donate their time and expertise to support fellow pilots. CPA publishes the monthly Flight Lines newsletter, maintains a statewide network of airport representatives, and hosts events that bring together pilots from across the region.
