Government Relations
Government Relations is the CPA team that follows the decisions that affect flying in Colorado, and helps members take part in them.
What Government Relations does
We keep track of bills, rules and local decisions that touch Colorado airports and pilots.
When something needs your voice, we tell you what is happening and what you can do.
The Government Relations chair leads the team. Volunteers do much of the work.
Who we work with
- The Colorado General Assembly
- The CDOT Division of Aeronautics
- County commissions
- City councils
- Local airport boards
What volunteers do
- Follow a bill or an airport
- Help draft action alerts
- Gather studies and news
- Show up at meetings
You do not need to be an expert. Pick the airport or topic you care about and the chair will help you start.
Get involved
Sign in, open My Account and offer to volunteer for Government Relations. The chair will review your offer and write back.
