NTSB Narrative

The private pilot was practicing touch-and-go takeoffs and landings when he turned too early on the base leg and had to make a steep approach to the runway. Upon touchdown, the airplane porpoised several times and the nose gear collapsed. The airplane flipped over and went off the side of the runway. The pilot's failure to maintain control while landing.
