THE DUAL STUDENT'S POOR TAKEOFF TECHNIQUE, HIS FAILURE TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL, AND INADEQUATE SUPERVISION BY THE PIC CFI. A FACTOR WAS: THE DUAL STUDENT'S LACK OF EXPERIENCE IN MOUNTAIN FLYING.
