THE PILOT'S FAILURE TO MAINTAIN ADEQUATE MAIN ROTOR RPM PRIOR TO TOUCHDOWN. FACTORS WERE: THE DISCONNECTED ENGINE TO TRANSMISSION DRIVE SHAFT AND THE INADEQUATE INSPECTION BY COMPANY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL.
